Software Engineer

Datalogics is a leading provider of PDF programming toolkits, document composition software and a suite of Adobe eBook solutions. We are seeking to hire an experienced software engineer to join our team and play a key role in developing and maintaining our PDF programming toolkit. You will be working on several large codebases on a wide variety of platforms and configurations.

Responsibilities:

• Identify software issues and develop solutions across a variety of products and programming environments.
• Work with other engineering team members and support staff to resolve customer issues.
• Enthusiastically participate in design and code review process.
• Develop and update documentation.

Skills and Experience:

• Advanced programming skills in one or more of the following languages - C, C++, Java
• Ability and drive to solve tough problems
• Experience developing across a variety of languages, operating systems and environments
• Experience designing, prototyping and implementing software APIs and SDKs
• A college degree in computer science, math or a related field. In lieu of degree, 4 years work experience.
• Knowledge of Agile SDLC Methodologies is a plus.

In addition to technical qualifications, the successful candidate must be a strong team player who can communicate effectively both inside and outside our group, troubleshoot and coordinate with other development efforts. In this position, you will gain skills in many languages and platforms, such as C/C++, Java, Objective-C, Windows, Mac, Android and iOS.
