Chicago, IL, July 15, 2009 — Through a further extension of their partnership with San Jose-based Adobe Systems, Datalogics is now licensing Adobe InDesign Server to software developers and implementers. InDesign Server now joins the other Adobe technologies available through Datalogics, including the Adobe PDF Library SDK, Adobe PDF Print Engine, Adobe Normalizer, and Adobe PDF JobReady.
Adobe InDesign Server is a robust and scalable engine that offers the ability to automate the design, layout and typographical capabilities of Adobe InDesign. Rigorously tested to provide a high degree of stability, it offers a flexible development environment, including support for SOAP, Java, AppleScript, JavaScript, Microsoft Visual Basic, C#, and C++ plug-ins. The latest version also supports IDML, a new open file format that enables developers to programmatically assemble and disassemble InDesign pages using standard XML tools.
Adobe InDesign CS4 Server is available on Windows 32-bit, Windows 64-bit, and MacOS platforms; and can be licensed directly from Datalogics.
