The Appligent PDF Forms API provides PDF form filling and flattening capabilities in a developer toolkit. It is a C API available on Windows, MacOS, Linux, Solaris, HPUX, and AIX platforms; and is available directly from Datalogics.

The Appligent PDF Forms API is based on Appligent Document Solutions' pioneering and still industry-leading FDFMerge. Now powered by the Adobe PDF Library, FDFMerge fills PDF forms with forms data, fully flattening them for archival purposes, or partially flattening them for multi-stage workflows.
