New! Appligent PDF Forms API
Populate, flatten and manipulate PDF forms - The Appligent PDF Forms API, powered with the Adobe PDF Library, will programmatically populate, control and flatten PDF forms for quick delivery. Other capabilities:
- Place PDF, JPEG or TIFF graphics into fields
- Remove active form fields, embedding field content directly into the document (form flattening)
- Flatten selected fields or the entire form (partial form flattening)
- Dynamically change border width, color and background color of fields
- Format text fields, including font, point size, alignment, color, and more
- Use advanced typography - manage character and word spacing and line leading
- Support for both RGB and CMYK color
- File encryption available

pdfaPilot
Include PDF/A validation/correction capabilities into your application - The pdfaPilot toolkit from callas software GmbH is specially designed for users who need to check conformance to PDF/A (ISO 19005-1:2005) for archiving. The pdfaPilot toolkit can also correct PDF files for PDF/A compliance, thus enabling you to provide robust PDF/A support within your application.
pdfaPilot is available for Windows (2000/XP/Vista), MacOS X, Linux, Sun Solaris (x86 and RISC), and AIX. The SDK is built upon the Adobe PDF Library API. pdfaPilot is also available in a command-line executable version.

pdfToolbox SDK
Automated Acrobat® preflighting, advanced PDF correction and color management - The pdfToolbox SDK from callas software GmbH enables preflighting, automatic correction and color-management. The preflight feature is virtually identical to the "Preflight" feature found in Adobe Acrobat Professional, including full binary compatibility of preflight profiles. Professional color management converts RGB data to CMYK and has sophisticated spot color handling (i.e. rename, merge, convert to CMYK, remove, etc.) to provide a basis for reliable, color matching print output. Other capabilities:
- Incorporates optional conversion to black and white
- Automates error correction to help maintain a reliable workflow
- Modifies and fixes more than 75 PDF properties and identify more than 100 problems in PDF files ranging from common to highly specific.
pdfToolbox SDK is available on Windows and Macintosh and built upon the Adobe PDF Library API.
