DLE: The Datalogics Enhancements

In its initial release, access to the PDF Library was limited to a low-level C language interface. As programming tools and methodologies have evolved, we have kept pace, extending the PDF Library with enhancements and interfaces to more modern programming languages.

Our PDF Library distribution includes DLE, the Datalogics^® Enhancements^™, a set of modules which provide performance improvements, optimizations and enhancements; and language interfaces for .NET and Java developers. DLE was released in 2007 (see the press release).

Using DLE, Visual Basic, C# and Java programmers can leverage the robustness and reliability of true Adobe technology while remaining in their development environment of choice. We have several C#, Java and Visual Basic code samples to help you get started.
