  • An embrace of ambiguity - we are a small company and therefore many of us wear several hats. We expect people to volunteer to help with what needs doing, while respecting that important decisions require many different inputs.
  • Comfort being a leader when it's called for; being a follower when that is what's needed; and being able to tell when to be which of these.
  • Drive to make the people and products around you better. We expect your passion is success, and that you define success as inspiring everyone around you to great results. We consider great results to be products that significantly enhance our customers' and users' lives and that bring inspiration to us and our users alike

A relevant degree is expected, with additional consideration given for relevant graduate degrees. Experience in a product management role is expected - if you don't have a history in the role, you'll need to especially amaze us with your potential for this role. This is not a technical position, but you will need to interface well with a variety of technical stakeholders both inside Datalogics and outside in our target markets. You'll be expected to represent your products and Datalogics to varied audiences in many different settings.

Datalogics may not be for you if you are accustomed to a large corporate environment and the structure that entails, nor are we the best place for someone seeking the chaos of a start-up atmosphere. However, if you come willing to get your hands dirty with a variety of tasks and eager to work with a wide selection of different people in different roles, you will be happy and do well here.

Some travel is required, including international travel, and at times on short notice. However, this is not a remote position; we expect the product manager to be based in our Chicago office. Compensation will be based on experience and capabilities, and includes a competitive package of benefits. Local candidates will be given preference. Datalogics is an equal opportunity employer.
