Join us (Virtually) at Document Strategy Forum 2020

Datalogics is once again exhibiting and presenting a session at Document Strategy Forum (DSF), the premiere conference for high-level business executives focused on enterprise communications and information, on November 9 & 10. This year, like many other conferences, it will be held virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We will be presenting a session titled “Get inFORMed: Learn how to overcome your PDF Forms frustrations” which will be available on-demand in our virtual booth throughout both days of the conference, as well as here on our website after the show. PDF forms are widely created and used in many facets and applications. In this talk we’ll cover XFA and AcroForms which are the two most common formats you will encounter. AcroForms is considered the original PDF forms format. XFA forms were designed to enhance the processing of web forms, however, they are not fully compatible with PDF viewers and software. What this means is that a majority of PDF software does not support the XFA format and you can’t open, view, process, convert, or print these forms. So what can you do about it? In this presentation, we’ll dive into XFA forms and explore why they are such a unique PDF Form format, explain why they are not easy to work with and show how you can efficiently work with XFA forms using the Forms Flattener from Datalogics. To learn more about the topics we’ll be discussing, visit this page about converting XFA Forms.
