Today, Datalogics is announcing our active participation of Juneteenth on June 19th, 2020. We have many passionate employees who care deeply for equality, justice, and their local communities within the Chicagoland area. We will be closing our office on this day, and we encourage our family of employees to take this day to reflect on the damage being done to the Black community in America (and around the world) and to actively show their support through peaceful protests, interpersonal dialogue, and communication with our nation’s leaders.
We are proud to stand in solidarity with other companies in the software community, such as Tech Soft 3D, OpenText, and Siemens, who are calling on others to promote and support their employees taking a stand against racial injustice and inequality.
As the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said “In the End, we will remember not the words of our enemies, but the silence of our friends.” This is not a time to be silent. Our support is needed.
