Announcing PDF WebAPI as the Connected Service for Visual Studio

Last week we mentioned in a blog post that we would be at Microsoft Ignite this week talking about the PDF WebAPI and Connected Services. At the bottom of that article I said we would be showing off the Connected Service that we built and today I am happy to announce that our Connected Service is publicly available! (You have to use the RC version of Visual Studio 2015 that Microsoft has published in order to be able to use the new version of Connected Services though, here is a link to download the RC version of Visual Studio 2015)

To help get you up and going with our Connected Service, there is a getting started guide  over on the developer site we have been working on for the last few months as well. The getting started guide tells you more about how the Connected Service for PDF WebAPI works with your project and provides a little bit of code to help you write your first request against the PDF WebAPI! You can also go straight to the code by jumping over to my gist  account where we are experimenting with hosting sample code for working with various products from Datalogics.
Leading up to Microsoft Ignite though, we were focused on providing a great experience out of the box when going through configuring the Connected Service. Here are some screenshots (I won’t share the before versions but I will say this new version looks 10x better!).

Don’t forget to stop by our booth at Ignite if you haven’t already! We would love to hear from you and show you the great stuff that we have been working on!
From the PDF WebAPI team at Datalogics!
