Manage and secure EPUB and PDF eBooks using Adobe DRM
Adobe® Content Server 6 (ACS) software is a robust server solution that digitally protects PDF and reflowable EPUB eBooks. It integrates with existing online bookstore technologies libraries and educational solutions to provide a seamless purchase and fulfillment experience used by hundreds of bookstores, schools and libraries around the world.
Highly configurable protection controls enable you to provision content for purchase or lending. Your protected content can be read on mobile devices, desktops, and dedicated devices using Adobe Digital Editions, DL Reader, and custom viewers built using Adobe Reader Mobile SDK.
Adobe Vendor ID works with Adobe Reader Mobile SDK and Adobe Content Server, to enable streamlining of the device activation and content authorization process for eBooks, and improve the eReading experience for your users.
Adobe Vendor ID allows vendors to streamline the content authorization process by providing vendors with a unique ID which can be used to authorize content on behalf of its users. This eliminates the need for readers to create, use, or see their Adobe ID. Vendors gain more control over the authorization process; and can effectively eliminate the dependency on Adobe ID for their users. Adobe Vendor ID supports a joining mechanism whereby Adobe ID-based user accounts can be “joined” with Vendor ID -based ones.
